CLAN RULES and GENERAL INFO

REMINDER:

As a Christian clan we can never forget that we are here to glorify God.  Always remember to love one another.  And don't forget we are playing a game.

With that in mind, there are still some clan rules we all need to follow in order to work together.  Everyone needs to be on the same page and know what's expected.

CLAN RULES AND GUIDELINES:

1. No cursing in chat. No acronyms for cursing or taking the Lord's name in vain.

2. Only donate what is requested. Exception is to fill remaining space when another requested troop will not fit. Request ANY if you do not care, or specify any ground, any air, and/or include troop and spell like wizards / haste.

3. Please be mindful of your donation ratio.  If you want troops, also give troops.  If you find that your requests are taking a long time to get filled, make sure you are not being perceived as a leech.

4. Please only request MAX troops during war time.  This gives lower town hall players a chance to donate as well.  The 2 level upgrade perk helps.  Only request DE troops for war, or unless another player says they are trying to dump DE troops.

4. No rushed bases.  Take your time and enjoy the game.  You should have completed most of your upgrades before moving to the next town hall level (one exception is walls).  Questions about adding defenses can usually be answered with, "if you can kill it, you can add it".  Try not to grow your base beyond your ability to 3 star a base just like yours.

5. You do not need to war - please use the Opt-Out option so we know to exclude you from war.  Opt-In when you are ready to war again.  It is generally a good idea to Opt-Out while Heroes are upgrading.  This is especially true at TH9, when the Archer Queen enters the battle field.

6. Clan Games participation is not required, however, if you put points on the board, please be prepared to complete 1000 points worth of challenges.  People doing less are considered to be taking advantage of your clan mates.  We have software that tracks this.  One bad season will not be a problem for people with good reputations that typically end with good scores,. However, patterns of abuse will not be tolerated for long.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. Clan wars require a minimum group of 5 players with increments of 5 players after that, so you may be drafted into a war, even if you opted out.  Don't worry about the attack rules if you are drafted.  If you can help out with an attack, great!  If not, that's fine, we will know you did not intend on being in the war.

2. Requirement for elders include always using both attacks in war, following war rules and general clan rules. Maintaining a great donation ratio, such as giving more than you take.  Good participation in Clan Games, and being a team player.

3. When you feel ready to upgrade to the next Town Hall, feel free to request a base review from the elders and other clan members.  They may have good suggestions to ensure your best success at the next level.  Also see the upgrade pages on this site.  UPGRADING 101 and UPGRADING 102 are good resources to read.

4. We have a Slack channel for the clan. This provides enhanced communication over the in-game chat.  This channel can be used to request troops when no one is logged into the game, and discuss topics in more detail. Slack also supports sharing of files, images, and maintains a long searchable history to recall older conversations.  If you are interested in joining the clan Slack channel, please ask for instructions in the game chat.
