HOGGING

Hogs are very powerful attack starting at Lvl 4 Hogs at TH8. When healed properly they are unstoppable except by the cc troops and by giant bombs. In particular Double Giant Bombs (DGB). One giant bomb is very damage a pack of hogs but if you have a heal spell already in place, the hogs will be perfectly fine. But if they cross the path of a DGB then the double explosion will kill the bunch.

--If you are attacking a base without a 2x4 empty space for DGB then getting 3 stars is fairly straight foward - it just take some practice to use the 3 heals properly and you should be all set. Planning out the path that the hogs will likely travel will help you plan out heals. But if the base hasn't been attacked yet, you may need to react on the fly when you hogs approach a 2x2 empty spot that may have a giant bomb or a tesla.

--If the base has empty spots for DGB then you need to figure out how to trigger them with a small group of hogs (surgical hogging) or you need to use a kill squad of a golem and wizard to penetrate the base and detonate the bombs (GoHo).
