Welcome to our network of Christian Clans

WAR RULES
Warning: It is up to each clan member to fully understand and abide by these rules. These rules exists to help the flow of war progress smoothly. Do not skip over ATTACK RULES below (last section). Not following these rules can get you kicked from the clan.

ARE YOU IN OR OUT?

Important! This clan goes to war three times a week. Sunday is our day off. If you cannot participate in war for a few days, it is your responsibility to OPT-OUT of war via the CLAN WAR button. Please adjust this war setting at least a few hours before the start of the next war to avoid confusion.

If you are OPT-IN for war and do not use your attacks, you could find yourself benched or kicked from the clan. Only you know your schedule and it is up to each member to OPT OUT when they will not have the time needed to participate in war. Being kicked from the clan is not forever, it is mainly to prevent you from being included in the next war. Feel free to re-join the clan if you figured out how to OPT in or out of war.

The seriousness of the war rules increase in as your Town Hall also increases because higher town hall bases are much harder to cover missing attacks.

CLAIMING TARGETS:

In general, there are no reservations of bases. However, the ability to claim a base does allow us to prevent someone from building a custom army for a base, only to have someone else attack it a moment before you get to it.

Here is what claiming a base is saying.
1. I am building a custom army for this base now and will attack when the army is finished, within 30 minutes.
2. Or, I will attack this base within 30 minutes of the start of war, if claim is made before war starts.
3. I am VERY confident my attack will result in 3 stars.
4. I have no other claims, this is the base I am focusing on.

We have had cases where a claimed base was the only thing left on the map, which is not fair to other players actively engaged in the war. We also had cases where the claimer could not 3 star their claim, leaving a mess for someone else to clean up.

Please DO NOT claim a target if:
1. You are not building a custom army for that particular base.
2. You will not be able to attack within 30 minutes of war start or the time of claim.
3. You are not VERY confident that you will be able to get 3 stars on the attack.
4. You already have another claim on another base. Only claim one base at a time.

Finally, if you have a claim, and attack something other than your claim, You will be benched from next war. Clan wars is a team effort, please be a team player and think about others.

PREPARING FOR WAR:

1. Only max troops should be donated to the war clan castles. In wars where no one has max of something, figure out who has the highest, or ask the person if they would like to change their request to MAX of something else.

2. Please update your war clan castle troop request to match your housing space capacity and what you would like to have for war defense. Please use the format: 5- Arch, 5-Wiz, 1-Baby D, Avoid unspecified troop counts, such as wizards and archers, or 2 witches and the rest archers. These requests requiring the person filling to do math in their head which slows down the process and is more prone to errors.

3. If you are a TH11 or lower, please be ready for war prior to the start of war. This group of people needs to use their first attack in first 12 hours of war. With a day of prep, there is no excuse for not being ready to make an attack in the first few hours of war.

4. It is recommended to get your CC full and ready for war early, and put your clan castle to sleep so you will not lose the troops in an attack, or make sure your shield has enough time left to cover your planned attack time.

5. When you upgrade your clan castle, please remember to go back and adjust your war CC troop request. And if you have recently added new structures to your main village, please make sure the new things have also been added to your war base.

ATTACKING RULES:

1.. If you are TH11 and lower, you must use your first attack in the first 12 hours of war. If you are in the bottom 1/3rd of the line up, it may be needed for you to use both of your attacks in the first 12 hours of war. For example, if the line up is 15, then this means the bottom 5 should not save attacks unless it has been worked out with the CO-leader running the war..

2. For your first attack, your primary goal is to 3 star an enemy base, even if it means going lower to do so. If you do not get 3 stars on your first attack, you are required to go lower on the second attack, or to the lowest open base in your attack range.

3. Attacking a base that there is NO CHANCE of getting three stars on is called LOOTING and this is not permitted until the person running the war has given the GREEN LIGHT for looting. Doing so without permission will have consequences such as. A warning, being benched from war, or being kicked from clan.

4. Second attacks: If your first attack was not a 3 star, please do not wait to loot with second attack. Use second attack as soon as possible to clean up a base lower than your first attack. War works when most of the players get three stars on at least one of their attacks. If there is nothing else open in your range, then wait for the GREEN LIGHT to loot.

5. You must build a decent war army that has a chance of success. See attack strategies on this site. Or ask for assistance in the game chat for ideas on a good troop mix for your town hall. In general, do not mix air and ground troops. There are special cases where a 90/10 split makes sense, but a 60/40 split never makes sense.
